Abarth 1000 SP: Chassis and front suspension (II)

A lot to cover here as I have not been diligent in posting. Front suspension is now complete.

Rear tube frame has been assembled, painted and installed. This took a lot of planning, drilling, filing and test fitting. The pros solder these, but even with a temperature controlled iron, I am petrified of melting a key little tube made of unobtainium, so it's CA glue for me.

The engine actually went in OK. Piping, especially coolant to the radiators, took a bit of creativity.

Next will be to complete the rear suspension, which is all painted and ready to go. In preparation for the next step after that, anything that needs to be painted in body colour has been washed in Dawn liquid and given a rinse & scrub in isopropyl alcohol. Once dry, it will be on to primer.

Stay tuned!
